The London Shipping Law Centre, celebrated a 25 year voyage around the world of shipping on 27 November 2019, in London. The Centre provides an unrivalled platform for informing, explaining and debating across an outstanding spectrum of maritime, legal and commercial subjects.

The Tsavliris Cultural Foundation scholarship was awarded this year to Ms Eleni Karnaou, University student of a family of four children, by the Permanent Secretary of the Shipping Deputy Ministry in Cyprus, Mr Costas Iacovou. The news was released on 12 November 2019 during a press conference and award ceremony at the "Four Seasons Hotel" in Limassol, Cyprus.

On 11 November 2019, the Tsavliris Cultural Foundation general assembly elected unanimously Mr Acis Montanios as its President.
Mr Montanios is the Managing Partner of Montanios & Montanios LLC, Advocates & Legal Consultants.

On 23 September 2019, the Bulk Carrier "NAVIOS CHRISTINE B" (GT 32,343 - DWT 58,058), in ballast condition, immobilised due to propeller damage south of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Tsavliris provided salvage assistance and on 20 October, the operation was completed successfully.

On 4 October 2019, the Drilling Ship “YAN” (GRT 47,079 – DWT 37,697) was handled outbound at Akaport Platygiali Astakos by three Tsavliris tugs, namely the “HERMES”, “HERMES I” and “PROTEAS”.
