On 25 March 2017, Tsavliris dispatched the AHT "DUTCH POWER" (3,200 BHP – 45 TBP) from Rotterdam to the assistance of the motor reefer "SCANDINAVIAN REEFER" (GT 7,944 – DWT 11,054), laden with refrigerated products. The vessel had anchored in North Sea, 45 miles from Flushing, following a mechanical breakdown.
On 26 March, the convoy arrived safely at destination, the casualty was delivered to port tugs and berthed at "OPTICOOL BERTH ROTTERDAM". The "DUTCH POWER" was released and moored at Lekhaven.
Tsavliris Group History at the Greek Shipping Miracle
Tsavliris Group is a Founding and Operation Supporter of the first online maritime museum “Greek Shipping Miracle” and the history of the Group can be found online.

The vessel was immobilised due to main engine problems NE off Tenes, Algeria.

The vessel immobilised due to main engine problems NE of Tenes, Algeria. On 9 February the convoy safely arrived at Malaga anchorage and the salvage services were completed successfully.
Tsavliris at the 3rd Naftemporiki Shipping Conference
The present and the future of shipping was discussed by the sector’s top protagonists during the third annual Naftemporiki Shipping Conference in Athens on 19 January 2017. The successful event took place at the Athens Concert Hall. George Tsavliris of Tsavliris Group participated in the first panel titled "Greek and European shipping: competitiveness and prospects in times of uncertainty".
