Tsavliris Christmas Party 2012
Tsavliris Salvage Group once again hosted their traditional Christmas cocktail Party at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London on the 11th December 2012. This annual event is one of the most well received gatherings of the year in London, with over 300 people from all sectors of the shipping community attending.
This year Mr. George A. Tsavliris spoke a few words to our guests, welcoming and thanking them for their kind support over the years. He briefly focused on the company's successful activities and the difficulties over regulatory issues governing the international salvage industry. He also praised his brother, Andreas A. Tsavliris, who is currently the President of the International Salvage Union ISU).

Piraeus Port Captain Club’s 30th Anniversary
On Monday 3rd December, on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Piraeus Port Captain's Club, Mr. Nicolas A. Tsavliris was honoured to be proclaimed an honourary member for services rendered to the shipping community and the Piraeus Port Captain's Club. The "touching" event was held in the evening of the same day at the club's headquarters in Piraeus to mark this special day.

The North American Marine Environment Protection Association’s 5th Anniversary Conference
Mr. George A. Tsavliris, Chairman of the International Marine Environment Protection Association (INTERMEPA), travelled to New York City on the 14th November in order to attend the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) 5th Anniversary Conference and Awards Dinner. Despite the mayhem caused by Superstorm Sandy the event went smoothly and was held aboard the "HORNBLOWER INFINITY", docked at Pier 40 on the Hudson River.
