"GOLDEN SKY" Salvage Operation was Successfully Completed
After having successfully completed a five-month salvage operation, TSAVLIRIS safely delivered the "GOLDEN SKY" to her owner on the 4th of May 2007, and LOF/SCOPIC contract was terminated.
TSAVLIRIS SALVAGE GROUP of Greece has added another ocean salvage tug to its fleet, acquiring the former Abeille Normandie for an undisclosed sum, writes Nigel Lowry in Athens. The 16,000 ihp vessel, said to be in South Africa, is likely to be kept on station in Cape Town, the group said.
TSAVLIRIS SALVAGE GROUP, after an active 2006, held top position at Lloyds by way of number of Lloyds forms secured, having signed 18 LOFs. The Group also maintained its busy start for 2007 with more than ten significant operations performed during the last three months.
